EQUIPMENT

ABBACAT uses Club-Quality equipment, with high quality Master amps, with 3 channels, built in compression limiter,active filter,1500-watt R.M.S., RCF and Das  speakers, Laptop Computers, with latest professional DJ software, professional lighting (intelligent lights) and smoke machines if required. There is no extra charge for lighting, or a smoke machine. All are included in the quoted price. What we supply, some of our opposition call a premium, gold or platinum package, which they charge extra. Value for money, we can't be beaten!

When you book a disco, ask for the names of their professional lights. 80% of mobile disco's only have a strobe, and chaser lights.

Our Professional Lights (Intelligent Lights) are from Martin, JB Systems, Lyte Quest Pro, and Super Star Lights. 

Martin Acrobat scanners, with 18 gobos, 10 colours, 3 multicolours, which move to the beat of the music. Martin Raptors, Martin T-rex scanners with 18 coloured gobos, Lyte Quest Lighting as follows: Brainscan Scanner with 12 coloured gobos, moves through its 12 coloured gobos to the beat of the music.
LQ-123 Super Twister, with 19 lenses, giving a 38 multi-coloured beam effect, that moves to the beat of the music.
LQ-413 Star Gazer, with 48 lenses, to give a dazzling, 144 multi-coloured beams, that are sound activated, and dance to the beat of the music.
LQ-340 Dazed, with 15 multi-coloured lenses, gives 45 multi-coloured beams, that are sound activated.
LQ-512 Fly 2, two balls giving 14 coloured beams, that rotate 360 degrees, creating a spectacular multi-beam effect.
LQ-72 Rotating white moonflower effect that moves to the beat of the music.
LQ-800  Baby Devil. 3.9mW Red Lazer, which beams preset patterns, and sound activated.
LQ-82 Rotating coloured moonflower effect, that dances to the beat of the music.
LQ-310 Pinhead, rotating pinhole ball effect, continuously creating a wide dispersment of white light.
Super Star Lites lights are as follows:
Double Derby: 10 coloured lenses, giving a display of 20 sound activated multi-coloured beams.
Sundancer: 10 coloured lenses, giving 20 beams, which criss-cross to the beat of the music.
Unica: Gives 10 multi-colour beams, which dance to the beat sound of the music.

Professional lighting separates the men from the boys. We still use the chaser lights and strobes, like other disco's. If you don't want lights at all, we accommodate you.

We play the music requested on the questionnaire, drawn from our extensive library of CD's, played at the volume you would prefer.  We do not charge for the time it takes us to set up (approx. one and a half hours) or the time it takes to pack up (approx. one hour). You only pay for the time requested.

We cater for very large, or small intimate functions at a venue of your choice. We specialise in parties, corporate or private, and weddings, theme parties, or whatever you require in the field of disco entertainment.

You could spend tens of thousands of rands on the finest catering, venues, flowers, etc., having a function, which ends up being a disaster, because you hired the wrong disco.  Clearly, your entertainment choice must be made carefully.
